Sunday 16th at Nature in Art.

Liz Harding's piece on the wall at Nature in Art.
Our day as artists in residence in the studio - a very sunny Sunday.
Lindas work in progress. We really enjoyed talking to everyone who came through the studio and explaining techniques and inspiration. Visitors enjoyed the sketchbooks and understanding the process and research behind the work. Two more weeks to enjoy the exhibition, we are stewarding everyday so come and chat to us!

Quilts Outside at Nature in Art

My quilts hanging in the garden of Nature in Art, seemed to have survived the heavy rain, drying out quickly and glowing in the warm sunshine.
Three long thin quilts wrapped around the trunks of the Hazel tree and a quilt hung on the garden wall nearby, covered in symbols to represent the qualities of the Hazel as the Tree of Knowledge. Orange used as the colour traditionally associated with the Hazel.
