Newark Park Exhibition. Louise Watson.

Rosemary and I had a lovely day last Sunday, meeting visitors and talking about the work. We explained all the work was inspired by the house and garden.We will be there next Sunday briefly with visitors of our own!

Strip:joint African strip cloth in a new light......

Kay & I spent a lovely day on Tuesday at Midsomer Quilting setting up my exhibition Strip:joint - African strip cloth in a new light....showing all my work with strip cloth, plus other quilts inspired by trees.

It's full of colour and visitors have been fascinated by the depth of colour and textures created by stitch.

Plus a few traditional african cloths on display. Only three more days to visit. 

Setting up at Newark Park
