Stroud International Textile Festival was launched on Saturday and we set up our exhibition yesterday. You can see that we did a lot of balancing (only Lizzie), coffee drinking, cogitating, and brooding - all together we had a great day. So come and see our exhibition. Details can be found below and we are in the textile festival catalogue. A big thank you to Mike for all his help with the hanging.

stitch sampler
I have been looking at stitches a tailor would use and how they could be worked decoratively for embroidery. The sampler is finished at last for the exhibition, opening on Tuesday. Well when I say finished there is always something I want to add...............

BBs and bags
Three more of the Brunel Broderers with their bags in Corinne's garden on Sunday. The top picture is me, then Carla, then Lizzie. It was the last meeting before the exhibition so keep calm and carry on the order of the day. I think I go a little crazy just before an exhibition with so much to think about - I nearly went to the meeting in my slippers!

the travelling bags!
Susi's wonderful bag made by Louise - a Japanese styled shape with faded beauty in the fabric
Here it is in the garden...
and you can see my added button detail - the flame orange vintage twisted silk...
You have seen Alison's bag by Louise - here they are in an unusual place - they travel regularly every week to Save the Children in Bath where both of us volunteer!
